Insegnare l'arte del vivere - Teaching the art of living (Marco Emanuele)

Insegnare è una fortuna, insegnare bene è una missione. Ai giovani di oggi, infatti, è importante insegnare l'arte del vivere, la più complessa. Ma, purtroppo, molti insegnanti pensano che insegnare sia trasferire in modo lineare alcune nozioni agli studenti, anche in maniera scollegata fra di loro.
Insegnare l'arte del vivere significa  abituare i giovani alla complessità del mondo-della-vita. Significa abituare i giovani, contemporaneamente, ad apprendere - disapprendere - riapprendere. Di fronte alla vita, infatti, molti intellettuali sono profondamente incapaci di conoscere.

Teaching is a fortune, good teaching is a mission. To the young people of today, at the different levels, it is important to teach the art of living, the more complex. But, unfortunately, many teachers think that teaching is a linearly transfer of some concepts to the students, also disconnected between them.
Teaching the art of living means to accustom the young people to the complexity of the world-of-life. It means to accustom the young people, at the same time, to learn - unlearn - relearning. Faced with the complexity of life, in fact, many intellectuals are profoundly incapable of knowing.
