It's not enough to say that politics is in the hands of gangs of corrupts and dishonests. Honesty is necessary but not sufficient. Sure, there are ruling classes better than others but the problem is more radical. The problem we have today is that political thinking has degenerated, that is no longer visionary, that has hidden political talent which lives in the sharing of political sense of reality. And that talent does not die but it must be reconsidered in view of the challenges of the globalized world. We must re-establish politics as the art of mediation of special interests (that can not be eliminated because they are part of human nature and part of each of us) and as the science of liberation of the human project.
