The mystical body (Marco Emanuele)

I'm not a theologian but a man and I recognize in Pope Francis a man who knows how to approach the history with a "transcendent realism", bringing in it the authentic spirit of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As writes the historian Alberto Melloni, "the embrace of Cuba" is an important step towards the Christian unity, so necessary and so difficult.

The simple and profound gestures of Francesco want to build the "mystical body" that we worship during the Mass but that we have to realise in our history as humanity and to make "flesh and blood" in the human condition; we have the responsibility to re-create that condition in creation.

The symbols that become "historical dialogue" are the evidence of Mercy that today's world needs; our world is prisoner of "dogmatic truths" which are the lifeblood of the historical totalitarian idea, making us degenerate.
