I just heard an interesting debate in Rome on the occasion of the presentation of the book "Pietre di confine" of the italian historian Sergio Zoppi. On that occasion, the sociologist Giuseppe De Rita, talking about the years of his professional engagement in the post-World War II' Italy, spoke of a context in which the "command" was the result of a "chain of command" which integrated different skills; in listening to De Rita, I rediscovered the value of complex thought, what is missing today. In our time, in fact, the "command" is self-referential and it is not the result of a sharing of objectives.
I was lucky enough to meet some great "witnesses of history"and I would like this blog to become a "laboratory of complex thought", a community of reflection for the historical action, taking advantage of what we have been, actualizing the value of experience in the reality of the evolving worlds.
