The chances of Europe (Marco Emanuele)

We would need, in today's world, a European Union as "strategic subject"; instead, we have a continent that degenerates every day, not having a shared vision. unable to be a single integrated voice, in difficulty in governing the consequences of the world's problems that, in many cases, are caused by a globalization without global sense.

In Europe we see a more intolerable political vacuum. Europe would have the ability to leave a mark on the future of the Mediterranean region (which fate is increasingly crucial for peace in the world). Europe could be the subject useful to help bring peace to a world crossed by the "third world war in chapters". Europe could work for a global order that all are trying but that is hard to bring out; in fact, we exist in an a-polar world, lacking in leadership, too competitive and too uncooperative.

But the chances of Europe are linked to a political sense that today we struggle to see.
