Philosophical diary - Historical judgment 01/02/2016, In progress (Marco Emanuele)

We have to explain to the young generations that the totalitarian idea is not dead. That idea lives in the run-up in the eternal present, in the cruelties perpetrated in the name of God, in the absolutism of values without "incarnation" in the worlds-of-life, in the consideration of democracy as a model ("to export" as goods) and not as a process (uncertain and "in progress"). The totalitarian idea lives in us, in our dogmatic certainties, in our arrogance to have dogmatic truth and to be the center of the common history.
