It's hard to be realistic (Marco Emanuele)

It's hard to be realistic. In fact, often we confuse the analysis of the international situation with the moral issues.

Is it possible to imagine a world without war? I think that the conflict naturally belongs to us, that the need for competitive affirmation that we incarnate is already a principle of conflict; the problem is political and we need mediation and the ability to be aware of what we are.

Those who "preach" perpetual peace, those who invoke the values without embody them in the contradictions of the worlds-of-life, those who not embrace the complexity of reality are prisoners of their own unreality; and, meanwhile, the true reality always degenerates more.

Human persons can return to live in the permanent hybridization of the human condition and in the difficulties of living together. This means that we must rejoin our uncertainty, progressively relativizing our desire to dominate and to separate; we can not deny what we are but we can try to be fully human.
