From jungles to cities (Marco Emanuele)

The Fondazione Aldo Della Rocca , thanks to the work of Prof. Corrado Beguinot, leads a great work of reflection on the issues of the city and of the "right to the city". This work began, at italian and international level, well before the problem of urban government became the drama that we know today; not from today, cities are becoming places of death in which the human condition degenerates.

Now that the United Nations has welcomed between 2030's goals the theme of the city (n. 11, Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable), the time has come for a new global responsibility.

We are all called to contribute; people-citizens, governments, local authorities, universities. We have all to work together to rethink cities as "communities of life", places for a complex politics and for the dialogue between differences; we have all to feel the responsibility of co-existence and we can / must do it in our daily lives.
