Cities 2030. Our view of the city is complex (Marco Emanuele)

Our view of the city is complex. We need to know the contexts, integrating in our approach political-institutional, philosophical, anthropological, economic knowledges and different cultural and religious sensibilities; the integration of the skills and experiences allows to adequately understand the realities that are deeply integrated.

Cities can again become "places of knowledge" that test our knowledge, now thought in separate and separating terms; we are victims of a linear thinking that does not make us understand the surrounding reality.

The first form of degeneration lives in our cultural inability to understand complexity.
