I insist. A true leader is who lives the "historical present", the processes of history; the so-called leaders of today live only " in the eternal present".
Pope Francis, I think, is a true leader, supported by an extraordinary diplomacy and able to welcome the "signs of the times" with a natural political sense. The others, who believe themselves world's leader, should learn from the simple and radical gestures of the man dressed in white; from the throne of Peter,which has become the world, Francis is launching a message to everyone: change is to live politically, is to understand what happens, is to live in the realities of worlds-of-life.
There is a "historic transcendence" we must find; we are risking our future and the survival of humanity in creation.
