We are faced with the need for a global rethinking of global coexistence. All seek answers to what is happening but few people return to the fundamental questions: what have we become? There is no doubt that globalization has greatly improved the living conditions of entire peoples, but also, there is no doubt that the globalized model carries with it a lot of contradictions and inequalities; politics is no longer able to govern these contradictions and inequalities that, in fact, become discomfort and fear for all of us. What to do ? It's fundamental to rethink the terms of a coexistence that is not just "living together" but "living integrated"; integration, in fact, presupposes dialogue between "different humans", the ability and will to accommodate any difference in us, without fear. To be realistic, there is "inhuman" that, as part of our common human nature, can not be erased from history; it can only be mediated and, where it tried to win, defeated.
