Paranoid and Losing, ISIS Could Get Even More Brutal (Clarion Project)

A paranoid, ideological and revolutionary regime that's losing on the battlefield is a recipe for infighting and horrendous purges against "traitors."

  1. Comparing Isis to the French Revolution, even to the dire period of Robespierre, does not sound exactly right. In fact, it sounds utterly wrong. Revolutions mean violence and bloodshed, but the French Revolution meant justice and freedom, too, Robespierre notwithstanding. What will the legacy of Isis be? Severed heads and women made slaves?
