  1. I am not much of an economist and this article helped me to understand what is going on, and will be going on, in Britain and Europe as far as economy, finance, labour and trade are concerned. The sun will not shine for a long time. Which is worrying. I wonder if letting common people vote in a referendum on such a complex issue is advisable. And I do not think this a question of being democratic or not: what I mean is that common people (and I include myself in this category) know very little about the European Union and all that is linked to it: policies, politics, economics, etc.. Its is therefore paramount that everybody involved in politics, communications, economics, law, the academia and whatever else I might forget, strive and give our citizens, old and young, the best information they can about the European Union and all its proceedings. Our future depends on it and our media are not, usually, up to this task.
