A young district-level gold medallist from Greater Noida, was unaware of her exceptional sporting abilities. For a long time, her parents did not let her go to school simply because their daughter would either be compelled to use the same toilet as the boys or go out to urinate in an open space. Payal was losing out on an opportunity to study and pursue her sport because her school had unhygienic toilets with no access to water
