Rhetoric of security, freedom, reality (Marco Emanuele)

Today more than ever we need to "human sense".

The Brussels attack is just a dramatic confirmation of the inhuman's victory in history. We are globalized and increasingly alone and, after the today's attack, we will continue to want security, sacrificing freedom.

Intelligence and police will do their job but, it is clear, they will not solve the problem that is above all cultural; we do not have a shared idea of coexistence as a process that is built together, a process that integrates the natural differences of the human mosaic.

Politics that will speak after these attacks is the expression of a "linear thought" no longer acceptable; we exist in a "political vacuum" and, of course, the strongest (the inhuman, whatever is its origin, is more competitive than the human) took advantage.
