Our search for new paradigms for international relations is based on the cognitive approach to the complexities of realities. It is an approach that looks into the reality of vital historical processes, seeking to re-integrate what the dominant homologation dis-integrates. It is a knowledge work in each reality, prior to any political decision.
Knowledge is a process that has no end and which lives in the dynamic truth of reality; in knowledge, in fact, our beliefs are riconciled with life and, in doing so, are problematized and relativized.
The cognitive approach helps us to give substance to our analysis that, too often, are unreal, abstract than reality and rejecting the necessary contributions of anthropology and philosophy.
