Modi’s Visit to Saudi Arabia Could Herald New Beginning for Indo-Pakistani Relations (Lindsay Hughes, Future Directions International)

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is due to visit Saudi Arabia for two days beginning from 2 April. This visit will be part of the homeward leg of his visit to Belgium and the United States, where he will participate in the India-EU Summit and the Nuclear Security Summit, respectively. Since there is every possibility that he will meet Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Washington, stopping in Riyadh on his way back to New Delhi could offer an opportunity to discuss, and perhaps even grow, India-Pakistan relations.
