The political vacuum in the a-polar world, in the absence of a strategic and shared thinking, can only lead to the domination of power relations. Power relations not mediated but immediate, radically changing the world order as we know it. 

We, the "West" (?), certain in our values, have to think differently and to find that the "soul of the world" lives in its complexities, informalities, transitions. We need to return to a complex politics to govern, as much as possible, the vital historical processes.
