The Pope meets humanity in his every symbolic journey in existential peripheries (strategic places in our a-polar world). Even today in Lesvos, Francis brings the "power" of the Gospel of Love and Mercy, strength of humanity that transcends itself in its re-creation in creation.
Francis unites believers in a "faith in each man" which is the expression of God that defeats the "pagan gods" that generate violence and inhumanity. Looking at the world, the inhumane seems to triumph and we can ask "where is God who saves us?"; but the God of Love and Mercy lives, first of all, in our historical responsibility as human persons.
Francis in Lesvos is stronger than any "global summit"; his "pray for me" is a "do not leave me alone" or, rather, is a "take up your responsibilities".
There is no history without the contribution of all of us, each one different; in technocratic domination, we must return to our uncertainty, listening to the witnesses of the "signs of the times", like Francis.
