Spreading tendrils of racism (Jamal Doumani, Arab News)
The monstrous Daesh attacks in Brussels last Tuesday, that brought mayhem, chaos and bloodshed to the Belgian capital and left 31 people dead, was heinous in the extreme, coming as they did a mere five months after the group’s equally monstrous attacks in Paris, that took the lives of 130 innocent civilians.

The Palestinians, especially those in the West Bank, have watched helplessly as their land in Area C was progressively gobbled up by Jewish colonizers, thus making it geographically and politically impossible for them to establish a viable Palestinian state. Sadly, Palestinian leaders have been able to do little to push the cause of the people’s struggle for survival, let alone independence.
