Yet George Steiner, in the book La passione per l'assoluto, argues that inactivity towards inhuman is less acceptable nowadays because we are well-informed. Thanks to the internet and the media, we know in real time where the inhumane acts.
I just have to say that this means a further our responsibility and that, obviously, we have let win in us the power of the inhuman form of indifference.
But, even considering all this, I believe that the power of the sense of humanity can save us, if we return to share it.
